A few weeks ago I came up with the idea of starting a small podcast/show on my YouTube channel, something similar to what Patricia Steere is doing with her great show called ‘Flat Earth & Other Hot Potatoes’.
The idea is to bring on different guests covering a wide range of topics and not just Flat Earth. I had the idea initially of recording the shows offline, editing them, and uploading them to YouTube for viewing after the shows took place. I have however changed my mind on this and decided on broadcasting most of the shows Live using Google Hangout and broadcasting straight to YouTube.
Although this has a lot of benefits compared to recording offline, it also has its drawbacks, such as not being able to add Music, Clips, or edit and cut scenes out.
Being the kind of person who has to have the best of both worlds, when it comes to literally everything, I have decided to go with both methods here, recording offline as well as broadcasting Live, it will just depend on who the Guests will be for each particular show.
I won’t go into too much detail as it is still early days. I am working on getting a few guests lined up, and putting together the Artwork, Music, Introduction Text and so on. Once everything is in place and I have an exact day of the week selected for the show we will go Live with Episode #1.
Episode #1 guests have already been selected and many of you will be happy to see 2 of the more hidden faces from within the Flat Earth community making an appearance here on The 33 Show, WakeTheSheeple2015, and Scott Marrow. If you don’t know who they are, you’ll just have to wait for Episode #1.
I know many of you are wondering why I named it The 33 Show. I was initially going to name it The Insane Show. This was the name I had settled on from the first day going back a few weeks. The day before making the introduction video you see below, I changed the name to The 33 Show. I had just got into bed getting ready to sleep and had spent the whole day researching Gematria and the miracles of Pi (3.142…). The main part of the research I was doing concentrated on the following numbers:
- 110
- 99
- 88
- 77
- 66
- 55
- 6
- 33
- 22
- and 11
For a reason still unknown to me I had a sudden urge and the idea of changing the name to The 33 Show sparked in my head. I decided there and then without giving it a second thought that I had found the perfect name. That was 3 days ago funnily enough and I’m very happy with how everything has worked out so far.
